Overview

Sea Kayaking, one of the oldest forms of transportation, provides a diversity of exhilarating opportunities, including long sea crossings, groundbreaking expeditions to isolated areas, playing in the surf, journeying to remote beaches, or simply providing a platform from which to observe the fauna and flora of coastal waters. This stunningly photographed survey covers minimal-impact sea kayaking, how to choose a kayak, safety tips and rescues, how to navigate, and much more.
