Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot

More than a book, this offering combines a board book format with small (six piece) puzzles. The text in Seasons Puzzles features items common to one of the seasons. For Spring, there are pictures of baby chicks, a bird's nest, tulips and a lamb. The puzzle shows a flowering tree. The puzzles are not easy and are probably beyond the abilities of the kids who would most enjoy pointing to and naming the objects. It is an interesting concept, and kids with manual dexterity and patience may enjoy working the puzzles. Other titles in the "Jigsaw Puzzles" series are Color Puzzles, Number Puzzles, Word Puzzles, Shape Puzzles, and Animal Puzzles.
