About the Author, William R. Holland

William R. Holland has served as a junior high school teacher, school-level administrator, superintendent of schools, executive director of the Rhode Island Association of School Principals, college professor, and Rhode Island commissioner for higher education. He is professor emeritus in educational leadership at Rhode Island College and works as an educational consultant.
