Children's Literature - Peg Glisson

This title in the "Blazers Horsepower" series gives the young reader simple basics of a semi's parts and how the trucks are used. Facts and definitions are well developed. "Blazer Fact" sidebars highlight additional information of interest to youngsters. Like others in Blazers series, there is a labeled diagram of a semi's parts, a glossary, an index, and recommended websites and books. However, one site cannot be found, another quotes Wikipedia, and the third is a commercial site for Mack trucks. Stunning photos align well with the text and will draw youngsters in.
