PreS--A sweet and simple board book celebrating the weekly Jewish ceremony of Havdalah, marking the end of the Jewish Sabbath and the beginning of a new week. Richly hued watercolor-and-ink illustrations depict a warm and loving family cherishing the ritual. Using the five senses as a framework for the text ("LOOK! What do you see? Three stars in the sky. It's time for Havdalah"), the author conveys each important component of the Havdalah service, ending with the familiar refrain, "Shavua Tov," a good week to come.
