Sharks

Many people see sharks as vicious killers that prowl the sea, waiting to prey on humans. It is true that sharks have attacked people, but every year, humans cause much more harm to sharks than the other way around. As a result, endangered and threatened shark species may soon disappear forever. While many view sharks are vicious killers, in fact only four subspecies are responsible for most unprovoked attacks on humans, and all four have decreasing populations and might soon disappear.
