Synopsis

What will happen when the sheep go trick-or-treating? Could there be wolves lurking in the woods, hoping to catch the sheep as they head home? This lively, funny story is a real treat for fans of this adventuresome flock.

Publishers Weekly

Forget the candy! This year kids can feed on some fun food for thought. Fans of Sheep in a Jeep will welcome the board book edition of Sheep Trick or Treat by Nancy Shaw, illus. by Margot Apple. The woolly heroes emulate youngest enthusiasts, "As the Halloween moon rises,/ Sheep are fixing up disguises." Kids will chortle to see the lambs in ape's clothing and Dracula-like bat wings, and giggle at the "treats" they gather ("Cows offer hay and clover"). Copyright 2005 Reed Business Information.
