Synopsis

Silas Marner by George Eliot is a classic Victorian novel that tells the story of a reclusive weaver, Silas Marner, who lives a solitary life after being wrongfully accused of theft. His life changes dramatically when his hoarded gold is stolen, and soon after, an orphaned child, Eppie, enters his life. The novel explores themes of redemption, community, and the transformative power of love and human connection, as Silas's relationship with Eppie brings him back into society.
