Simple Serger Sewing

The pattern book is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is introductory material for the serger owner. It includes answers to basic serger questions based on the editor's past experience as a serger demonstrator for two National Sewing Machine Companies. Including, but not limited to: Serger Stitch Formation, Serger Tension, Types of Serger Stitches, Threading Tricks, Turning Corners, Curves and Openings, Serger Short Cuts.

Julie Johnson is the editor of Sewing Savvy magazine and the books Designer Denim, Serge Smart, and Sew Special: Fat Quarter Gifts. She is a former educator and designer for two sewing-machine companies. She lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
