Skippyjon Jones embarks on the quest to return Don Diego's frijoles which El Bumblebeeto has stolen. With numbers on his side, Skippyjon and his friends travel down the river to an island where they discover El Bumblebeeto hiding. Skippyjon steals back the frijoles while Bumblebeeto is sleeping but wakes him up in the process. After rushing back to the boat, Skippyjon is celebrated for his bravery and still gets home in time for his own frijoles dinner. Part of the "All Aboard Reading" series, this is a Picture Reader with plenty to look at. Rebus pictures are used, as well as full page color illustrations along side every page of text.
