Social Work Practice Across Disability

The goal of this text is to assist social workers and students to practice in a sensitive and effective manner across disability. It describes the relationship between the societal environment and disability, looks at disability and the individual experience, covers essential skills for practice with people with disabilities, and examines the role of the social worker as part of the disabled person's support network.
