Synopsis

Zastrow (social work development, University of Wisconsin) presents a text designed to facilitate a laboratory approach to undergraduate and graduate group-work courses. A 65-page resource manual at the end of the text contains exercises that can be used in rational therapy, behavior therapy, and reality therapy groups. This sixth edition provides opportunities for students to gain proficiency in social group work skills through the inclusion of skill-building exercises, on perforated pages, that can be used in class or as homework.
