SolidWorks 2007: The Basics is a subset of Engineering Design with SolidWorks 2007 and provides a general introduction to the user interface, menus, toolbars and broad concepts and modeling techniques to create parts, assemblies and drawings.This book uses step-by-step instructions in 60 activities to develop eight parts, four assemblies, three drawings and six document templates. The user formulates the skills to create and modify solid features to model a Flashlight component. Project exercises analyze and examine usage competencies based on the project objectives.
