Overview

Let me tell you of Tom Merton.....in my waking reveries, my memoried visions of a phantom passing-thru of someone i loved and now so miss.

Tom Merton--the monk and the man who was my life double, the shade of my hulk amove in time for some ten years while alive, and now twenty more winters in death.

A ghost of a dream, a shadow cast forward to envelope my spirit. A spectre cloak to wrangle my weight upon the pavement, to block my free flow fall. The ehcoed tome that will not still the tomb. The heavy gravemark i carry aback all these days, so weary with write.............. And lay down here this imaged person. To rest in peace, the call complete.
