—Development and Change In recent years, people are realizing that enhanced trade among less developed countries will not only be to their mutual advantage, but could well serve as an important impetus for economic development. This important realization is accompanied by fresh thinking on traditional theories of international trade to encompass the trade policies of less developed countries. This volume analyzes the merits of various approaches towards a preferential lowering of trade among developing countries to stimulate South-South trade in manufactures.
