Synopsis

The Space Chimps Sound Book sends children ages 3 to 5 on an intergalactic adventure with the characters from the popular movie Space Chimps. The interactive storybook features 13 sound buttons for children to push to animate the story with sounds and music from the movie, and an innovative built-in board game and electronic game pad provide additional sounds and extra fun.

Each page is beautifully illustrated with scenes from the movie. Illustrated icons in the text match 13 buttons on the module at the side of the book. As readers and pre-readers follow the story, they will have fun matching the icons with the corresponding sound buttons and pressing them to hear exciting Space Chimps sounds and music. Each button plays a different sound. Children will also enjoy playing the electronic board game at the back of the book. The book opens flat to a brightly illustrated game board. Four punch-out game pieces are included, as well as a five-button sound module and easy-to-follow instructions on how to play the game. Kids will have fun pressing five game buttons to zoom around the board to the finish line.

The Space Chimps Sound Book conforms to the Specifications for Toy Safety of ASTM F963-07. The book has been safety tested for children 18 months and older. Three replaceable long-life AG-13 button cell batteries that power the book are included.
