From the Publisher

This is an excellent book for anyone with an interest in sexual health, especially at the beginning of your career. It's very readable and coherently laid-out. The case histories and self-assesment make it a potentially useful learning and teaching tool[.]BMA Awards 2005The text deals in detail with the most common conditions seen in GUM clinics...every chapter also has a PBL-style self-assessment questions at the end, with clear and succinct answers. The layout and presentation is clear, with well thought-out diagrams and flow-charts. Good use of colour makes it user friendly as does the fact that it is fully indexed . A novel inclusion in the chapter on anti-retroviral therapy are tables with photographs of every drug mentioned...you'll be able to recognise the drug when you eventually do come across it!Medical Student, MAD Magazine, the official journal of Barts and The London Students' Association
