Gr 2-6--Three titles that feature simple, eye-catching illustrations and easy-to-follow instructions. Each book offers 12 activities, all explained within a double-page spread. A full-color photograph shows the finished product; theme-related vertical borders frame each page. A roaring rocket made from a cardboard tube (World), a turtle made from an empty plastic container (Sea), and a skeleton made from different kinds of pasta (Spooky) are among the projects included. Many of the crafts use everyday materials; most require little or no adult supervision.
