Library Journal

This is primarily a reference book of stamping techniques with a section of fairly easy projects demonstrating the use of various techniques. Both sections are well illustrated with color photographs showing each step. Technique descriptions are very detailed and cover stamp materials, inking and coloring stamps, and such special effects as edible stamps for cake decorations. A section of line-drawing motifs for making stamps completes the book. Gear and Freestone own a craft shop in England, and this book is a good indication of their expertise. Suitable for public libraries. Copyright 2004 Reed Business Information.
