Overview

A newfound love was accidentally
spawned under the stars as they sailed through the vast waters of the
Caribbean. Johnson's Star Cross Lovers captures the tragedy, loneliness,
conflict and happiness of a family.

After thirty years of marriage,
Ed called his son with the devastating news, "Your mother had a wreck.
Meet me at the hospital." The family was in mourning. How does Ed survive
the loneliness in his large, old, lovely, two-story home in Evansville,
Indiana?

About a year later, Tom, another
engineering friend and employee of Johnson and Johnson volunteered to travel on
a cruise with lonely Ed. While on a cruise, Ed jumped up and looked around when
he heard a voice that sounded just like his late wife. Ed saw a table of
beautiful young women drinking and laughing. As he was leaving the bar, he
strolled slowly past their table and smiled and spoke to them.

The next day, Ed was reading the
paper on the sun deck when he noticed one of the beautiful tall young women
strolling across the sun deck. Hearing the footsteps getting close to his
chair, looked up and saw her smiling and making romantic eye contact with him.
She stopped for a leisurely chat creating a scene that would last throughout
the cruise and become a long relationship.

Ed returns home, to tell Doris,
his oldest married daughter, Jim, his married son, Mary and Nancy, his
unmarried daughters about a new friend he met on the cruise. They thought this
was wonderful for their lonely dad and asked about her. All is fine with the family
and Ed visits his new friend in Washington D.C. and invites her to visit his
home for the Thanksgiving Holliday. The families are making big plans for the
annual holiday dinner and are anxiously waiting to meet Dad's new friend.

A catastrophe is brewing that
will test the strength of the family. Ed cautiously and purposely kept Sue's
age a secret from the family members. The next day, the family members hid
their true feelings about Sue while eating and enjoying the Thanksgiving
dinner. Ed has to continue explaining and defending his actions to the family
members. He is determined the secret will not explode and ruin his new life and
love.
