Overview

This sequel to Vornholt's Genesis Wave Trilogy describes the transformation and the response of one planet caught in the path of the Genesis Wave that was loosed by the telepathic plant people. The scientists of the planet are able to use their satellite transporter technology to save one tenth of their population but make the situation worse when they try to reverse the effects of the Genesis Wave. Worf, now a Klingon ambassador, is the main character in this interesting Star Trek adventure. Captain Picard and the Enterprise eventually arrive but are not really able to be much help until the end of the tale. (Star Trek: The Next Generation).
