Synopsis

From AudioFile While romance, spies, and counterespionage fill this story, it would have benefited from a more polished reading. Scenes are disjointed and hard to follow. Humorous adult behavior sounds more infantile than humorous. The portrayal of a 9-year-old child is uninspired and leaves the listener wondering about his mental capacity. The ex-wife's voice sounds like a male impersonating a female and distracts the listener from the story. Although ROMANTIC TIMES MAGAZINE names Miller "The Most Outstanding Writer of Sensual Romance," this audio is best left on the shelf. Holly certainly seemed like David's idea of the all-American dream. But wouldn't her blue eyes, blond hair and girl-next-door smile be the perfect cover for espionage? Until he could be sure her innocence was no act, he had to hide his identity - and his powerful desire to possess her. But after one kiss David knew he could never stop himself from loving the one woman he'd been sent to destroy...
