Overview

Some People Might Look at the More than half century of my ministry and say, "He's an old preacher. How can he advise me?" Others will say, "He's not a preacher who is old, but one who obeys God, is experienced in the things I face in my life, and can help answer questions facing me." All of these hold back the aging process and renew my strength like the eagle's. (See Isaiah 40:31.) I can travel coast-to-coast and border-to-border with a heavy anointing, preaching with the fire of the Lord in my spirit and feeling the miraculous power of God in my teaching, preaching and healing ministry, as well as in my calling as an author and educator. What I say in this book is as real as God is real and as fresh as the morning dew. The advice I give in this book is not mere book knowledge, although I am a student of both the spiritual and secular worlds. I have been where you are but have refused to sit there while I die. (See Second Kings 7:3.) I've risen up and struck a blow for deliverance. I've sat where you sit; I've felt what you feel; I've seen the invisible and done the impossible.

That's what I want to challenge you to do! Obey God, see the invisible, and do the impossible. Before Moses could undertake the impossible task of delivering the children of Israel from Egyptian bondage, it is said, he saw the invisible! "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing Him who is invisible" (Heb. 11:27).

By faith he was able to see Him (Jesus) who is invisible to the naked eye. Seeing Him with his spirit changed Moses' entire focus from a stuttering, faltering, and unbelieving man to an extraordinary talking, firm, believing, and anointed man who literally did the impossible both in Egypt and all the way to the Promised Land.
