About the Author, Denise Tucker

Denise Annette Tucker, RN, DSN, CCRN, currently holds the position of Associate in Nursing at the Florida State University School of Nursing, Tallahassee, FL. She is a qualitative researcher who earned her Doctor of Science in Nursing (DSN) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Her main research interests lie in end-of-life issues, critical care, ethics, and nursing informatics. Her teaching subjects include adult health, pharmacology in nursing, nursing ethics, research, computers in nursing, fundamentals in nursing, and drug math. Her published works include journal articles on nursing informatics and telehealth, chest pain, DNR, and nursing care plans.
