About the Author, Regina Hellyer

Regina Hellyer received a B.A. from Edgecliff College in Cincinnati and an M.Ed. from the University of Cincinnati. At Raymond Walters College of the University of Cincinnati, she has taught study skills, composition and reading. She is Director of the reading program and Co-director of the study skills program. Currently, in collaboration with a colleague, she is custom publishing two reading textbooks.

Carol Robinson received a B.A. and M.A. from Marshall University in West Virginia. She established the reading and study skills programs at a community college at the University of Kentucky. She was Director of the study skills program at Raymond Walters College for fifteen years and has been Co-director for the last ten years. She has taught study skills for twenty-seven years.

Phyllis Sherwood received a B.A. and an M.Ed. from the University of Illinois and an Ed.D. from the University of Cincinnati. In the mid 1970s she established a writing lab at Raymond Walters and was Director until her recent retirement. She has taught study skills, composition, literature, speech and business English at Raymond Walters College.
