Sudden Miracles

Showcasing the talents of Roo Borson, Paulette Jiles, Susan Glickman, Claire Harris, Elisabeth Harvor, Anne Michaels, Erin Moure and Bronwen Wallace, this stunning collection allows the reader an insightful view into writing at its most challenging and intriguing. Poems from each woman are introduced with an essay written by the poet herself that aims to both contextualize and demystify the writing. A major essay by editor Rhea Tregebov provides a critical evaluation of each contributor. Author photographs and biographical notes are also included to further situate the writing.

Rhea Tregebov is the author of six collections of poetry; she has also written five children's picture books and edited numerous anthologies of fiction, poetry and essays. Tregebov is currently Associate Professor of Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia.
