From Barnes & Noble

The Barnes & Noble Review
Microsoft keeps trying to make Access more, well, accessible. And we sincerely appreciate their efforts. But, sorry, if you're new to Access, you'll still need all the help you can get. And here it is: Teach Yourself Visually Microsoft Access 2007.

These oversized, full-color, Teach Yourself Visually books are wonderfully easy to use. Each task gets its own full-color two- or four-page spread. Screen captures show exactly what to do, and what happens when you do it. Just look up what you want to accomplish, follow the step-by-step instructions, and you're there.

The format's excellent; so's your author. Faithe Wempen is certified as a Microsoft Office Master Instructor, but that's the least of it: Her online courses have trained over a quarter million folks, and that's not even counting her 90-plus books (including six on Access). This author doesn't just know Access: She knows how to teach it. Bill Camarda, from the March 2007 Read Only
