Purpose: The purpose is to provide updated information on differential diagnostic and management techniques in the care of patients with TMD. The book stresses the use of a multidisciplinary approach and discusses the various avenues of management for TMDs. This is an important updated version of TMD management, and the book largely meets its overall objective.
Audience: The book is intended for physical therapists, dentists, and other health professionals who are interested in learning about the management of TMD. There are multiple contributors who are credible in their respective areas and whose backgrounds reflect the multidisciplinary approach necessary for treatment of TMDs.
