About the Author, Richard Windrow

Richard Windrow, born in 1938, has pursued military hobbies, including modelling , since childhood. After service in the 1st Bn. Queen Royal Regiment from 1957 to 1959, he became involved in the recovery of shot-down WWII aircraft for the Kent Battle of Britain Museum, before becoming an amateur rally driver. He has restored and showed a number of wartime US military vehicles, but has now returned to his first love, 1/35th scale military vehicles and the building of dioramas in which to display them.

. . . (the author) not only explains things on this DVD that he doesn't in the book, but it's so much more helpful being able to actually see him do things! Not only will this DVD help you to achieve things you've not been able to before, but it will inspire you too! Highly recommended!

This is a great DVD, and is a "must have" for any figure, AFV, or aircraft modeler who wishes to incorporate realistic groundwork effects into their craft. The video and sound quality of the DVD is very good, as is the camera work.
