Approximately 125 bright, full-color photos are used to illustrate the various types of vehicles. Each chapter is a two-page spread that displays 8-to-10 different examples from on the road, in the city, emergency, etc. Their arrangement on the page is somewhat random, with the photos placed in boxes of various shapes and sizes. Each item is labeled in large clear type with a sentence or two of description underneath. Sharp-eyed youngsters will catch some of the definitely European vocabulary and photos.
