About the Author, E. Dancey

Having trained and qualified in the U.K., Dr. Elisabeth Dancey spent several years as a G.P. in Belgium, where her practice was biased towards dietary and nutritional methods of treatment. During this time she was able to embrace further medical techniques such as mesotherapy, oligotherapy and phytotherapy (the use of plant products in the treatment of disease), not routinely available in the U.K.

She now runs a clinic in London specializing in the treatment of varous medical and aesthetic conditions. The majority of her time is occupied treating cellulite, which she does successfully by recommending the self-help measures described in this book coupled with Mesotherapy, a micro-injection technique first described in France in 1958 by Dr. Michel Pistor, for more difficult cases and speedier results.

She certainly practices what she preachesβ€” she exercises regularly, dances, eats a well-balanced diet and ensures that her body is in as good a shape as possible. She can thank her upbringing for regarding food, exercise and fresh air as an essential prescription for a healthy life.
