Editorials

AMERICA IN WWII magazine

“There truly is a need for a book like The Complete Idiot’s Guide to World War II, and not just for the poorly taught, the young and the forgetful (who might want a quick reference). Luckily this volume in the Idiot’s Guide series is exceptionally well written by Mitchell G. Bard. If you’re not careful you may forget it’s an Idiot’s Guide and think you are reading an absorbing general history of the war. For anyone who would like more than the usual two and a half pages the war gets in history books, or for those curious about how the world got to be the way it is, Bard’s book is a superb introduction.”--(Brian John Murphy, Fairfield, Connecticut)
