Children's Literature
Combining the last two books in "The Fallen" series, this book continues the journey of Aaron Corbet, his dog Gabriel, and the fallen angel Camael. Camael is now convinced that Aaron is the foreseen Nephilim (offspring of angel and human) that the fallen angels have been awaiting to lead the way to forgiveness for all of the fallen angels. But the Powers leader Verchiel is on a mission to destroy Aaron, along with all of the fallen angels and their Nephilim before forgiveness can be granted. As the story begins to reach its conclusion, Aaron will learn the identity of his father and the events that led to the war in heaven. While these are the last two books in a four-part series, past events are recapped enough that readers will not have to read the first two. With plenty of action and romance to keep both male and female readers engaged, this would be a great addition to any library. Pair with Paradise Lost to look at classic and modern views of the story of the angel Lucifer's fall from heaven. Reviewer: Kirsten Shaw
