Overview
Having written about the future of capitalism and democracy in 2002 and the future of human civilization in 2000, Baofu explores how the descendants of humans will think about themselves after postmodernity will have run its course. He begins by tracing the path from primordiality to human consciousness. Then he looks at basic and artificial needs, community and individuality, spirituality and materiality.
