Gr 9 Up-Few books have been written for teens on the sociological impact of the Internet; unfortunately, this one smacks more of drudgery than fascination largely due to the dreary design and scholarly text. The collection of essays does look at the pros and cons of Internet dating, which is certainly a trendy issue. Other topics include Internet voting, the digital divide, and privacy. While the material presented is important to consider, it will not engage general readers. Strictly for reports.-Scott La Counte, Anaheim Public Library, CA Copyright 2005 Reed Business Information.Book Details
