The Human Rights of Migrants

This collection of articles (also published as a special issue of the journal International Migration) has been compiled to promote debate and research on the topic of human rights and migration. It looks at the challenges of the next decade; the principles and practice of protecting migrants' human rights; the protection of internally displaced persons; role of the United Nations special rapporteur on the human rights of migrants; migration xenophobia and human rights in South Africa. It concludes with an annotated bibliography.
