This clever children's book is a fun explanation of counting up to 100 M&Ms by ones, twos, fives, and tens. Because it makes the somewhat tedious subject matter fun (and tasty), it is perfect for classroom instruction on classification, counting, and skip counting. The colorful illustrations of the candies make the book fun to look at and help to explain the counting procedures as well. The M&Ms pictured in the book are life-size, making it easier for less-advanced students to count by placing actual M&Ms directly on top of the pictured M&Ms until they get a feel for the process.
