The Miracle in a Daddy's Hug

In a world where so many boys and girls grow up deprived of their father's love, we see the repercussions of this depravation in the individual lives of these children and in society as a whole. The Miracle in a Daddy's Hug has a two-fold meaning: It's about the child who is a miracle full of miracles, and it's about the miracle-producing power of a daddy wrapping his arms, words, and heart around his child.

John Burns co-pastors with his wife, Helen Burns, at Victory Christian Centre in Vancouver, Canada. They host the internationally recognized program Family Success and local program Pure Sex and Relationships. He is author of Can We Talk? seminars and numerous teaching series. He has coauthored with his wife The Miracle of Friendship and The Best of Marriage Series. John and Helen have enjoyed twenty-seven years of marriage and are the parents of three daughters, Angela, Dancia, and Ashley.
