Synopsis

Louisa May Alcott was a 19th century American novelist. Her novels Little Women and Jo s Boys are her best-known works. Alcott became a strong feminist and abolitionist. In 1862-63 she worked as a nurse in the Union Hospital in Georgetown D C. The mysterious key is a silver key that opens a tomb with a paper inside. The story begins with a mysterious death and ends when an old prophecy is fulfilled. The book opens with a mysterious riddle, Trevlyn lands and Trevlyn gold, Heir nor heiress e'er shall hold, Undisturbed, till, spite of rust, Truth is found in Trevlyn dust.
