Overview

Gilbert Chesterton's diverse writings include poetry, philosophy, journalism, fantasy, biographies and Christian apologetics. Chesterton was a master of the play on words. Chesterton believed that there was a Jewish problem in Europe. He felt that the Jewish culture separated itself from the nationalities in Europe. He was a strong supporter of the formation of a Jewish homeland. Originally thought to be anti-semitic Chesterton was later seen as a champion of the Jews in the post Hitler era.
