Veteran writer, producer, and script doctor Madeline DiMaggio has worked as a creative consultant and story editor to Paramount Studio and NBC. She has written over 50 hours of produced film in: prime-time sitcoms, one-hour action and drama, TV pilots, soaps, animation, and feature films. Her credits include Surviving Eden, The Alibi, Through Thick and Thin, and If the Shoe Fits. Her spec script The Harder They Fall was optioned to North By Northwest. She recently sold the book to feature film screenplay Catherine Called Birdy to Commotion Films with writer Pamela Wallace (Witness), and the original screenplay Murder With Privilege to Showtime. She's currently working as executive producer for Honest Engine Productions on Sierra City. The author of How to Write for Television, Madeline also runs popular screenwriting workshops and appears at writing conferences. She lives in the Los Angeles area.
