About the Author, John Osborne

John Osborne's stage plays include Luther, Look Back in Anger, The Entertainer, A Patriot for Me, A Hotel in Amsterdam, and Inadmissible Evidence. Two collections of his plays are published by Oberon Books: Plays One includes Plays for England and A Place Calling Itself Rome; Plays Two contains Watch It Come Down, A Sense of Detachment, and The End of Me Old Cigar.

Oscar Wilde (1854-1900) was an Irish-born poet, dramatist, and novelist. His works include collections of fairy stories; the novel The Picture of Dorian Gray; and many brilliantly witty plays, including what is often considered to be his masterpiece, The Importance of Being Earnest.
