Overview

Cloning sheep and chimps is only the beginning.

Using Fossil Gene Redemption (FGR), geneticist Kevin G. Harrigan experiments with genes from a frozen 5,000 year old "Ice Man." Harrigan's work draws the attention of an Iraqi leader, Ismail Mon, who provides money and resources for exciting new research that enables Harrigan and his team to regenerate extinct animals and, eventually, human sub-species, from the Pleistocene epoch.

However, when it is discovered that FGR also has potential for creating genetic weapons of mass destruction, United States intelligence and defense leaders must act.
