About the Author, Bruce C. Birch


Bruce C. Birch is Dean and Woodrow W. and Mildred B. Miller Professor of Biblical Theology at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C. He is a contributing author to volume II of the New Interpreter's Bible and The Old Testament: A Theological Introduction.

Larry L. Rasmussen is the the Reinhold Niebuhr Professor of Social Ethics at Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He has authored a number of books, including Earth Community, Earth Ethics, and Earth Habitat: Eco-Injustice and the Church's Response.
