Gr 5 Up Combining the appeal of trivia games with the popularity of rock-and-roll videos, Weiss has cooked up a sure-to-be-dated book. For each of the 38 rock acts featured, approximately 30 questions are presented; while most questions cover the stars' videos' plots, characters, props and production, there is also a ``behind the scenes'' section of questions not related to videos. More general passages present questions on movies with rock stars, heavy metal bands, MTV, video guest stars, comic videos, special effects, performers' families, video history and controversial videos. Answers to all questions are provided in the back of the book. Selections are for the most part up-to-date and popular, including current biggies Prince and Madonna as well as old-timers such as Paul McCartney and David Bowie. Readers will enjoy the numerous color pictures of the stars. Questions are quite difficult and deal with the videos' minute details; however, even fans who are not familiar with the videos featured should enjoy the wealth of trivia that can be gleaned here.
