The Senator Must Die ( Oct.; 224 pp.; 1-57566-325-2): New York's greatest mayorþjust ask himþteams up for a third outing with Staub (Murder on 34th Street, 1997, etc.), this time thrusting his fictional alter ego into a Swiss/Nazi gold scandal that threatens the life of his old friend Sen. Anson Hubbardþa nice enough guy, but not a patch on Koch in the charisma department.
