About the Author, John A. Chiles

John A. Chiles, M.D., is a Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Kirk Strosahl, Ph.D., is currently Staff Psychologist and Research Evaluation Coordinator for the Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound Mental Health Department. He is also clinical adjunct Professor of Psychiatry for the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, University of Washington.
