If you really want to spend time learning about the night sky then this book is an excellent resource. After the introductory material about the stars, there are clear instructions to help the budding astronomer and a template for creating a Star Finder. After an alphabetic listing of the constellations, there are star charts with an explanation for using them. There also is an index and glossary.
