Gr 4-8-This slim, highly pictorial series entry is chock-full of facts, figures, graphs, charts, maps, and photographs. In a mere 48 pages, it covers the geography, economy, population, industry, education, government, religion, environment, and future of the U.S. It's just too much! Each double-page spread is so busy and full of sound bites of information that readers won't know what to look at first. While the text is useful, many of the charts and graphs are more frustrating than helpful.
