Cooks who do not share Freiberger's obsession with waffles may find the idea of Ceviche on Sweet Potato Waffles for an hors d'oeuvre or a Cheeseburger on a Pumpernickel Waffle for lunch less than enticing; however, most of her 100 or so recipes are for more traditional breakfast/brunch or dessert waffles.
